Soundass returns with Part 2 of their 4-month album release cycle for the "Father's Friend" suite, four distinct records that build part of a whole (which will also be released during month 5 of the project). This album sees Soundass unleashing their jazzy, funky groove, with guest vocalist J. Lavender assisting on tracks 2, 4, an 6. They open with one of the most hauntingly coherent jazz masterpieces Soundass has ever put to record, also unleashing an Eno-style groove on "The Fires of St. Agnes," and a funk clamor on "Getting Wild."
